LIFE+ is the EU’s financial instrument for supporting the environment. Its aim is to contribute to the elaboration, implementation and updating of EU environmental policy and legislation.
More specifically, LIFE intends to explore new solutions to face environmental problems on a European basis. This is the framework where the LIFE HAproWINE project will be implemented, financed by the EU during the period 2010-2013. It was selected by the European Commission under the 2008 call for proposals of this financial instrument due to its expected results and proposed development.
